STEEL FRAME CONSTRUCTION
The construction of the framing under the floor is heavy-duty galvanized steel beams, not wood. Because it is galvanized steel, you do not have to worry about rotting floors. Steel is stronger and lighter than wood. Steel beams are straighter. It will maintain its integrity but not warp like wood. If water were 2' deep inside of this structure for a period of time, it could be drained out and this structure will not lose its integrity at all.
ON THE OUTSIDE
We use special panels called SIPS (Structural Insulated Panels). These unique panels consist of 26 gauge painted galvanized steel sheets on both sides glued and laminated together with three inches thick of compress styrofoam in the middle. Together they form an I-beam affect to give you a stronger and lighter way of building. They also feature male and female ends that snap lock together with a sealant between for the ultimate in strength and an air tight seal. These panels surround all outside walls, floor and roof areas of your Cabin to give you an 'ice chest' affect to hold the temperature you desire on the inside while keeping out that extreme uncomfortable hot and cold air. Then the beautiful maintenance free, log looking vinyl siding and metal roofing is screwed on for your finished look. With escalating maintenance and energy cost, this is the construction of the future and you are getting it now!
ON THE INSIDE
The interior finish has beautiful beveled tongue and groove Northeastern White Pine. This is not a 1/4" plywood paneling. It is a full 3/4" thick paneling. It looks similar to Ponderosa Pine but has many more knots and much more character. Lots of others use a cheap paneling that warps and you can see the seams coming apart in a few years. Because it is a glued product and has the strength of tongue and groove, you will never see it lose its beauty nor its strength.
